Two Angels

Shahed & Noor are my nieces, daughters of my brother, Omar, who is currently in Canada, Halifax, pursuing his MBA's and establishing his family business which is into chocolates, something similar to patchi but on a much smaller scale and got some other project in hand as well which is into real estate, while he is an electrical engineer.

Enough of my brother :p I want to talk about Shahed & Noor.

Well first, let me talk a little bit about Shahooooooodeh, I like to tease her a lot by telling her she is a "naughty girl", "squeeze hug" her, "squeeze" her cheeks, tell her "Kutty" in Indian with waiving the small finger as a sign that I m not her friend anymore, and lots more…lol, I don't know why I love teasing kids, especially her.
On the other hand, Shahed is a very smart girl, currently at the age of 5, I guess, I m bad at counting.
Some of her traits: She started speaking at an early stage, memorizes very well, and very genius in connecting the dots and analyzing events.

Whereas, Noor is a chubby girl, who is just "huggable", currently at the age of 2, I guess as well, since also I'm bad at counting.
Some of her traits: She didn't grab on talking as quick as her elder sister, yet she is also smart, but loves food a lot, don't know a lot about her, as I didn't interact with her as much as I did with Shahed, because she was a baby when she was still in UAE.

In general, his daughters are typically raised in an Islamic environment including listening to Quraan, memorizing Quraan at an early age, learning all the athkar, high morals, taught the importance of prayer in a Muslim's life, along with other 3ebadat such as seyam, sadaqah, etc…, although not obligated to do any at this age yet. The list is long, however this is enough to give an indication of how they were raised, something which I ought to raise my kids upon in future in sha2 ALLAH. (Sometimes Shahed used to give me lessons lol) :p

To be honest, I m not sure if my brother, whom I forgot to tell you is much much much more religious than am I, ma sha2 ALLAH, checks my blog or not, in either case, I truly miss him, something, that is hard for me to tell in his face, since I have stated earlier in one of the posts, emotions is not something that is easily shown to the outside, rather kept inside of me.
I m still considered a "Meshkalji" to him and a "Naughty boy", lol :p
